Sommerfrische 2018 – Wörlitzer Park

Jedes Jahr findet eine Sommerfrische meines Nähforums statt und ich habe es dieses Jahr endlich auch hingeschafft! Es war traumhaft, das Wetter war toll und die vielen Outfits waren sehr inspirativ! Ich werde in den nächsten Tagen regelmäßig einen neuen Post verfassen über die einzelnen Tag.

My Sewingforum organize every year a „Sommerfrische“ – a summer escape or summer holiday – and this year I had the opportunity to join. It was fantastic, lovely weather and great fashion – I am full of new ideas! During the next days, I will write some Posts about the single days and show a lot of pictures!

Tag 1 fand in Wörlitz statt, ein großes Herrenhaus mit einer riesigen Parkanlage, das war schon fast wie im Märchen. Wir haben erst eine ausgiebige Gondelfahrt genossen und uns so über die Kanäle und Seen den Park angeschaut, danach gab es eine Führung des Hauses und zuletzt sind wir durch den Park flaniert und haben mit Hilfe von kleinen Fähren einige Inseln besucht.

We spent our first day in Wörlitz – there is a manor house and a very large pleasure ground looking like a fairytale! We started with a gondola ride to discover the park. After that we visited the manor and then stroll around the pleasure ground and the little islands which can be reached by little ferries.

Ich habe meine neue Chemise a la reine getragen. Sie besteht aus weiße Batist und das Futter aus weißer Baumwolle. Ich habe mich für einen engen Rücken entschieden, weil ich das sehr hübsch finde und man das nicht so oft sieht (manche nennen das dann Robe de Gaulle). Für den Tag war sie perfekt, schön sommerlich leicht und nicht zu warm.

I wore my new chemise a la reine, made of white batist and a lining out of white cotton. I choose a flat back, because I like that look and it is not so popular in the costumers world. (some call that style robe de gaulle). It was the perfect dress for that day, very light and not to warm.

Mein Freund hat dabei sein erste Kostümtreffen bestritten, seine Sachen sind auch alle von mir gefertigt. (bis auf Hut und Schuhe, die aus seiner Hand stammen) Das gesamte Outfit ist komplett aus Leinen

For my friend it was the first costume experience, all clothes are made by me (except shoes and hat – that was his work!) The whole outfit is linen.

Es wird noch einen weiteren Bilderpost zu diesem Tag folgen, allerdings habe ich einige Bilder, auf denen moderne Dinge und Menschen retuschiert werden müssen, darum folgen diese Bilder erst später.

There will be a second post with pictures of this day, but all this pictures must be retouched, because of modern things and people, that will take some time…
